The Payroll Management System covenant with the monetary aspects of employee’s remuneration, stipends, subtractions, gross pay, net pay etc.. and creation of pay-slips for a particular time period.
Our Payroll Management System provides the command to:
- Deal with Employee Information professionally.
- Describes in detail about the compensation, deductions, leaves etc.
- Generates all the Reports related to an employee, attendance/leave, payroll etc.
- Creates Pay-record and Pay Sheet all at the click of a mouse.
- Create and administer appropriately the Payroll Processes according to the remuneration configuration allocated to the individual employee.
The financial records of our organisations employees’ salaries, wages, bonuses, allowances, and deductions are handled by payroll.
Salary refers to the amount employees are paid for services rendered during a specific period. It is essential because laws and regulations govern it (e.g. in Nigeria, Payroll is subject to Personal Income Tax Acts).
The core objective of payroll processing is to make sure that there are no discrepancies, and the employee is paid impartially every month.
This may sound like a straightforward task, there are many stages involved. The final salary includes countless additions and deductions such as taxes, insurance, provident fund, gratuity, and others.
Payroll unit is saddled with responsibilities below:-

- Reporting and submitting payroll taxes (income tax and social security contributions) to the respective authorities.

One of the primary functions of Budget & Planning Unit is to develop, manage, and monitor the university's budget. This involves working closely with various departments and stakeholders to allocate resources for academic programs, research initiatives, infrastructure development, and administrative functions. The Unit is responsible for ensuring that the university's budget aligns with its strategic goals and objectives.
It is also responsible for preparing the University’s financial estimates as well as various reports relating to the funds/expenditure of the University as required by the University Governing Council, Office of the Accountant General of the State, State Budget Office, and other relevant agencies. It is also saddled with the maintenance of fixed asset register for all fixed assets purchased/acquired.
At the time of preparation for annual budget for the University, the Unit ensures the following budget processes:
- Call circulars are sent to Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments/Units concerned to prepare and submit in a pre-determined format, an estimate of the cost of running their departments/units in the forthcoming year.
- The proposals received are collated, considered and adjusted to generate a draft estimate.
- Presentation and defence of draft estimates of the proposal at the budget and estimates committee of the University.
- Preparation of aggregate estimate of revenue and expenditure-based on-budget performance of the current financial year.
- Amendments are made where necessary and the aggregate estimates are presented to the Finance and General Purposes Committee (F&GPC) for recommendation to the University Governing Council and State approval.
- Presentation and defence of draft estimates at the pre-treasury, treasury and House of Assembly of the State.
- Communicate the Council’s approval of Budget to departments and units.
- Periodic preparation of budget performance (monthly, quarterly & yearly basis).

The cash office unit is saddled with the responsibilities of preparing of payment schedule to the bank, writing of cheques and collection of monthly Bank Statement’s from various banks using by the University.

My name is Bolaji Ajike OLUWASANMI, a Senior Assistant Registrar in the Centre for Part-Time and Advanced Studies (CPAS). I joined the services of Osun State University in 2007 as a pioneer staff as Administrative Officer.
I hold HND Statistics, B.Sc. Mathematics, Master in Business Administration (MBA) and M.Sc. Sustainable Development Practice.
I was posted to Admissions Office to be assisting the Admissions Officer, from 2007 to 2015. In 2015, responded to an advertisement by the Institution and I was offered appointment as an Administrative Officer 1, I was then posted to the College of Agriculture as the College Secretary from 2015 to 2017. In October, 2017, I was redeployed to Student Affairs unit as the Student Affairs Officer until September 2022.
On 26th September, 2022, I was posted to the Centre for Human Resource Development and Lifelong Learning (CHRDLL) which later changed to Centre for Part-Time and Advanced Studies where I am till date.

I obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, in 2002 and 2024 respectively.
In the sojourn of my career, I have held various positions within the University, including: the Pioneer Student Affairs Officer for the College of Management and Social sciences (2007-2011); the Pioneer Faculty Officer for the Faculty of Engineering (2011-2015), the Senior Assistant Registrar, Registrar's office (2015-2020), the Head, Academic Staff Establishment Unit of the Personnel Affairs Unit (Now Directorate of Human Resource and Development), (2020-2022) and thereafter as the Head, Registrar's office (2022-2024). I have served as the Secretary to several statutory and Ad-Hoc Committees of the University.
On November 11, 2024, I was posted to the Directorate of Human Resource and Development where I currently serve the Head of the Directorate and clerk several statutory meetings of Appointments and Promotions Committee, Regularisation intervew, Interactive sessions for appointment of Temporary staff and other Ad-Hoc Committees as may be assigned by the Registrar or the Vice Chancellor.

My academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife), Ile-Ife, and a Master's degree in Administration from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Throughout my career, I have held various positions within the University, including: Acting College Secretary at the College of Education, Ipetu-Ijesa Campus; Officer-in-Charge of Administrative & Technical Staff matters and Academic Staff matters in the Personnel Affairs Unit of the Registry (now Human Resource & Development). I served as the Secretary of the revised Conditions of Service and currently member, Staff Disciplinary Committee.
