In the letter, the ViceChancellor said: ‘I also wish to place on record the unalloyed commitment of Mr. Governor to making the University a centre of excellence that would stand tall among the comity of universities, evidenced in the endowment of a chair of Building Knowledge Based Society: Infrastructure, Innovation and Quality of Life as well as the Governor’s initiative in the collaboration of the University with others in the world.’

He assured Mr. Governor of the readiness of the University to support and cooperate with him in realization of the vision of his administration to make the State of Osun a role model in Nigeria and across the continent.
