The College of Agriculture is located in Ejigbo. The town is located along the border between Oyo and Osun State. The College is currently having four (4) Departments with students admitted into their programmes.

The College of Agriculture was envisioned to be a model institution providing excellent and high quality teaching and learning experiences which will engender the production of graduates with entrepreneurial spirit of excellence and globally competitive capabilities.
Mission of the College
The College of Agriculture has a mission to be an institution that is technologically and professionally sound, committed to the pursuit of academic innovation and skills- based training in Agriculture and Natural resources management and set the pace and tradition of excellence in teaching, research and community service.
Physical Development
The Directorate of Works and Physical Development continues to supervise on-going physical development projects which include approach road construction, health centres, classrooms complex, ICT centre, Library building, laboratories complex, sports arena and facilities and farm structures. A feedmill factory, centres for Apicultural Research, Training and Honey Production, centre for Agricultural Extension and Outreach Services, Weather Station and a comprehensive landscape design project are in the pipeline.
The desire to create a model agricultural College is driving the tempo of physical development at Ejigbo campus.
Research Activities
Basic and applied research in agriculture and rural development are embarked upon by members of academic staff in the college. Areas of research coverage include agricultural economics, Agronomy, Horticultural science, Animal science , fisheries and aquaculture, wild life management, forestry/Environmental resources management , cooperative and agricbusiness management, Home science, Hospitality management , Agricultural journalism, Agricultural media resources development etc.
Research facilities being developed include:

- Agricultural media resources /Audio –visual laboratory

- Information and communication technology (ICT)

Community Empowerment Service Project:
The college establish centers and project for community empowerment and outreach service project. These are:
- CENTRE FOR AGRICULTRE EXTENTION AND OUTREACH SERVICE (CAXOS)
The centre packages and disseminate research findings as well and improved technologies for adoption and people’s empowerment at community level. - CENRE FOR AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH, TRAINING AND HONEY PRODUCTION (CARTHOP)
The cntre for established a 100 Beehive apiary for honey production and operated an agricultural and reaserch and training laboratory .it produces high quality pure natural honey called UNIOSUN HONEY and organizes entrepreneurial skills development training to present Bee-keepers and honey producers - LIVESTOCK HOSTELING PROJECT (LHP)
Establish to promote ownership of livestock and animal production enterprises by interested individuals.

UNIVERSITY GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
For admission into any of the first degree programmes of the University, a candidate shall be required to meet the Faculty and Departmental admission requirements as stipulated in the individual Faculty . In addition to the Faculty requirements, the candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications:
(i) A candidate for admission into the 100 level must have the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalents with credit level passes in five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings. The candidate must also earn an acceptable score in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s University Matriculation Examination.
(ii) Candidates seeking admission by direct entry into the 200 level, must have two (2) Advanced Level passes or approved equivalents in addition to credit level passes in three other subjects at the SSCE or its equivalents.
In all admissions into the University, credit level pass in English Language is required. In addition, credit level pass in Mathematics is required for all science- based, Social Sciences and Management Science courses.
UNIVERSITY APTITUDE TEST
All candidates seeking admission into the University irrespective of their UTME scores shall be required to pass the University aptitude test before being admitted.
