Mandate & Location
The Directorate, under the Vice-Chancellor's Office, oversees all sporting activities at Osun State University. Housed at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Main Auditorium, Osogbo, it provides facilities for the 16 NUGA-approved sports.

NUGA & WAUG Participation
Member of NUGA and WAUG, with aspirations for participation in FASU and FISU competitions. The University has participated in four NUGA Games:
- 2009 UNN (observation)
- 2011 UNIBEN
- 2014 OAU
- 2017 FUAM
Won six medals at the first outing in 2011 and additional laurels in subsequent editions.
Sporting Clubs
The Directorate, in conjunction with Faculty Sports Coordinators and the Students' Director of Sports, creates sporting clubs across all six campuses for NUGA-approved events, including the Literary and Debate Society.
Eligibility: Every student can join any sporting club and gain the opportunity to represent the University in championships and competitions.
