The delegation, led by its State Chairman, TPL Solomon Ayodeji Olatunji alongside other senior members, was received by the Vice-Chancellor and principal officers of the University at the Council Chamber.
Speaking during the visit, the leader of the delegation, TPL Solomon Ayodeji Olatunji said the engagement was aimed at fostering mutual understanding, deepening professional ties, and exploring areas of partnership between the Institute and the University community. He also highlighted the activities and contributions of the Institute to physical planning and sustainable development.
In his response, the Vice-Chancellor appreciated the delegation for the visit and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to strategic engagement with relevant professional bodies in advancing its developmental agenda.
He noted that collaboration with professional town planners would significantly enhance infrastructure planning and ensure that the University’s physical development aligns with global best practices.
Professor Adebooye further expressed optimism that sustained professional input from the Institute would contribute meaningfully to the University’s aspiration for world-class standards in campus planning and development.
