Oyeronke Animashaun is a dedicated pharmacologist with a passion for unraveling the intricate complexities of the human nervous system. She is deeply committed to instilling knowledge, nurturing student growth and fostering a passion for pharmacology among her students. With a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in pharmacology under her belt, she stands on the threshold of an exciting academic journey as she embarks on her doctoral studies.

Oyeronke Animashaun’s academic and professional journey  has been defined by an unwavering commitment to understanding the intricate world of neuropharmacology:  the pursuit of knowledge and solutions to combat the devastating impact of neurodegenerative diseases. She aims to expand our understanding of neurodegenerative diseases by exploring novel therapeutic avenues and making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.  Her career goal is to contribute to the body of knowledge in pharmacology, especially neuropharmacology and, ultimately, benefit society as a whole.
