Welcome

At the commencement of the 2011/2012 Session, the Senate of the University took a decision to establish a Centre for Human Resource Development and Lifelong Learning where the human capacity of Osun State and Nigeria in general can be further enhanced, with the mandate to run the following programmes:

a) Short term and executive training programmes;
b) Courses leading to the award of UNIOSUN certificate;
c) Courses leading to the award of UNIOSUN diploma;
d) Courses leading to the award of Bachelors Degree on Distance Learning basis;
e) BRIDGE Bachelors Degree programmes in collaboration with professional bodies.;
f) Sandwich courses in Education and other area of the University;
g) Basic Studies Programme that remediates the deficiencies of School Certificate Holders; and
h) Any other relevant programmes that can allow individuals to work while upgrading their academic qualifications.

As a student of the Centre, you are to note that you have some rights, privileges and responsibilities which mark you as a student of this Citadel of Learning like all regular students. These have been well spelt out in the Student Handbook for the Centre. What more should i say than to welcome you to UNIOSUN on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management of the University and the Centre. I wish you a fruitful studentship at Centre for Human Resource Development and LifeLong Learning, OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY. Remember that 'UNIOSUN IS COMMITTED TO THE PRODUCTION OF GLOBALLY COMPETITIVE GRADUATES' and you can actually be one.
